Plain-language terms for using Trove. By creating an account or connecting Trove to Claude, you agree to them.

The service

Trove provides a hosted connection that gives AI assistants access to toolkits — bundles of tools backed by public data sources and services, plus toolkits you build and deploy yourself. We work to keep it fast and available, and we may add, change, or retire features as the product evolves.

Your account

Keep your account credentials to yourself; you're responsible for what happens through your connection. You must be legally able to enter this agreement to use the service.

Your content and credentials

What you save stays yours. You grant us only the license needed to operate the service — storing, indexing, and serving your content back to you and your connection. API keys you store must be yours to use, and your use of each toolkit must respect the terms of the upstream source it talks to (arXiv, SEC EDGAR, eBay, and so on).

Acceptable use

Don't use Trove to break the law, to abuse or overload upstream sources, to send spam, or to attempt to access other users' data. We may suspend accounts that do; where reasonable, we'll warn you first.

Pricing

Trove is free to start. If we introduce paid plans or change what's included in the free tier, existing users will get clear notice before anything changes for them.

Disclaimers and liability

Trove is provided "as is." Toolkits surface data from third-party sources; we don't guarantee that data's accuracy, and decisions made on it are your own. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending things

You can stop using Trove and delete your account at any time — from your account menu, or by emailing us — and deletion purges your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes, law & contact

If these terms change materially, we'll note it here with a new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Questions? Email us.
